your oyster and then some

tonight i had a lovely dinner in st. helena to celebrate the upcoming nuptials of a fellow foodie and loved one. i can see how happy she is, how much she is in love, and how she is much loved in return. i know that i am typically a cynical anti-social curmudgeonly shit, yet i have always strove to be as bluntly honest and truthful as possible.

so i must admit that it makes me feel good to see her happy.

it is really quite simple.

as i am feeling quite sentimental at the moment, i just wanted to put out my hope for them into the world wide hope for them, on the eve of their wedding, is that the world will be their oyster....and then some.
